What happens at my first appointment — will you just jump straight into things?
Not at all. Dr. Deshpande takes time at your first visit to get to know you, understand any concerns you have, and walk you through what she's doing before she does it. If you've had a bad experience at a dentist before, that's actually something she hears a lot — and it's exactly why she slows down. Most first visits take about an hour and include a thorough exam and cleaning, so you leave with a clear picture of where your dental health stands.
I have a really busy schedule — how quickly can I get in?
Same-week appointments are usually available, and the practice offers early morning, evening, and Saturday hours specifically for people who can't take time off work. Just call or fill out the form and let us know what works for you — we'll do our best to find something that fits your week without making you jump through hoops.
Do I need to bring anything to my first appointment?
Just your insurance card if you have one — Brilliant Smiles accepts most major dental plans, so there's a good chance you're already covered. If you have recent X-rays from a previous dentist, those are helpful to bring along but not required. Dr. Deshpande will take whatever she needs to get a full picture.
What if something comes up and I need to cancel or reschedule?
Life happens — just give the office a call or send a message as soon as you know, and the team will get you rescheduled. There's no pressure and no judgment. The goal is just to make it easy for you to get in when you're ready.
