    Brilliant Smiles doesn't accept Medicaid, NJ FamilyCare, or other state-funded dental plans. If your plan isn't accepted — or you don't have commercial dental insurance — these options keep care affordable:

  • $249 new patient special — full cleaning, exam, and digital x-rays for patients without commercial insurance (regularly $399 — saves $150).
  • Cherry 0% APR financing — monthly payments for larger treatments like Invisalign, dental implants, or veneers.
  • In-office payment plans — split larger treatments into manageable monthly amounts.
  • HSA/FSA cards accepted — for any covered dental care.

    What dental insurance plans do you accept?

    Most major plans — Aetna, Cigna, Delta Dental, Guardian, MetLife, United Concordia, United Healthcare, and Blue Cross Blue Shield. Don't see yours? Call us with the plan name — we likely still work with it.

    Do you accept Medicaid or NJ FamilyCare?

    No — we don't accept Medicaid, NJ FamilyCare, or other state-funded dental plans. For patients without commercial dental insurance, we offer a $249 new patient special (full cleaning, exam, and digital x-rays — regularly $399, saves $150). For larger treatments we also offer Cherry 0% APR financing and in-office payment plans. Call us at (908) 367-6130 and we'll walk you through your options.

    Do you accept Medicare for dental care?

    Original Medicare (Parts A and B) doesn't cover routine dental care, so we don't bill Medicare directly. Some Medicare Advantage (Part C) plans include dental coverage — bring your plan card and we'll verify whether yours covers care here. If your plan doesn't, our $249 new patient special is an affordable alternative for first visits.

    What if you're out-of-network with my plan?

    We'll still see you. Many out-of-network plans cover a significant portion of the visit, and we'll file the claim for you and give you a clear estimate of your out-of-pocket cost before we begin.

    Do you file claims for me?

    Yes, always — at no extra cost. We handle the paperwork with your insurance so you don't have to.

    Do you accept HSA or FSA cards?

    Yes. HSA and FSA cards are accepted for any covered dental care. We'll also give you an itemized receipt if you need to submit for reimbursement yourself.

    What if I don't have dental insurance?

    We have options. Ask about our $249 new patient special (cleaning, exam, x-rays — saves $150 off the regular $399). For larger treatments, we offer CareCredit 0%-interest financing and in-office payment plans.

    Will I get a cost estimate before treatment?

    Always. Before any treatment beyond a routine cleaning and exam, we walk you through exactly what it costs, what your insurance covers, and what you'll owe. No surprise bills.
